Term: One hour once a week over six weeks. Plus story notes & presentation to literary manager, Andrew Kersey.

From the comfort of your own home, write your screenplay with one on one guided sessions with Script Doctor Andrew Zinnes. Over 6 one hour sessions via Skype and over 6 weeks, you will commence and complete your screenplay. After which you will receive story notes, have time to rewrite and have your second draft completed and presented to top L.A. based literary manager, Andrew Kersey.
Andrew Zinnes is a Los Angeles-based script consultant who has worked for Paramount Pictures, Artisan, Norman Lear, USA Network, and as a script analyst for: Lions Gate, Morgan Creek, ScriptShark, Script Department. He was also a judge at the Nevada Screenwriting Contest, Silver Screenwriting Competition and Scriptapalooza. Andrew's own scripts have been optioned to Warner Bros. and various Hollywood production companies.
Class Outline
Each week will move you forward on the page to a completed screenplay by focusing on each of the following:
Week one: Outline your story. Look at your theme, plot, structure, characters and conflict.
Week two: Your set up. The Inciting incident and Act one break.
Week three: Your middle on both sides of the midpoint.
Week four: Your opponent, obstacles and conflict.
Week five: Your final act and resolution.
Week six: Character arc, dialogue and theme honing.
During each one hour session, you will have a one on one with Andrew who will guide you with your story, structure, theme, characters and dialogue. You will have the opportunity to write your 15 pages during the session which you will then work on during the week before the next class.
At the end of the six weeks, Andrew will give you full script notes on each of your screenplays. He will be on hand to discuss with you on the phone or via email your notes and their implementation. Once these notes are incorporated into your screenplay, your script will be submitted to a top Los Angeles manager for their notes and for the opportunity to be represented.
You will also receive a 25% discount on Andrew's script coverage services should you wish to have one more rewrite before submitting to the manager.
The Manager
Andrew Kersey
Andrew Kersey began his career at management and production powerhouse 3Arts Entertainment. After three years he became a development executive at Mostow/Liebman (TERMINATOR 3, U 571, BREAKDOWN) in the Universal lot. In the summer of 2002 he created Kersey Management, where he implemented projects at Fox Searchlight and Davis Entertainment (I ROBOT) and has clients working with such producers as David Friendly (BIG MOMMA'S HOUSE, DR. DOLITTLE), Barry Josephson (MEN IN BLACK 1&2) and Red Wagon (GLADIATOR, SPYGAME).
Terms and Conditions
If you need to cancel your ticket purchase you can get a full refund up until 30 days prior to the event. After that we cannot offer refunds. Refunds will be paid back promptly although
there will be a 10% admin fee deducted. Alternatively, tickets are transferable to other people if you can find someone to replace you. We are happy to change the name on the ticket.
